Hello Silver lovers. Today I am going to talk about the most beautiful design made for a bald eagle. And no, I ain't talking about the famous US Silver Eagle that is minted every year. This is minted in Canada. This amazing animal which usually is associated with the US, also is present around here but no one outside Canada thinks about it. So I am proud that this coin is so beautiful and shows a beautiful animal that is endemic in our Canuck land.

  Bald eagles are so common that I often see them flying in Alberta. Here in Lethbridge, when driving through Whoop Up Drive, I saw one flying over my head. This last weekend, I went to Waterton Park and saw two of them fishing over Cameron Lake. So especially here near the Rockies, they are pretty common near water bodies.

  The coin minted in 2019 originally comes in a clamshell display, like many premium Royal Canadian Mint products. I saw it being sold at crazy values over 80 CAD, even when silver was still under 50 CAD. I found a seller with 4 or 5 of these beauties without the display and he was selling the coin very near the spot. The final price of 63 CAD for me was a win. Even the original price of the coin in 2019 was 89 CAD. Well, for sure if it was released nowadays it would cost around 149 CAD, which is the regular 1oz silver price of a premium release at the mint. It is sad, I think it is very unfair since the silver 1oz is at 56 CAD at the moment.

  The coin called "The Valiant One: Bald Eagle" is great because of the matte finish, giving the reverse proof aspect. And like bears, beavers and cougars that are frequently found in our coins, they deserved this amazing honour in being in this coin. Of course, since it is a 2019 coin it still brings Queen Elizabeth II in the obverse.

  It was a great finding this month. Despite I having bad news in my collection. Finally, I am shipping a box full of goodies that I bought during the last 4 months with a famous business here in Canada. When they were checking all the items to ship, they noticed that they picked the wrong item when I bought it on May. I bought a nice Snake bar from Perth Mint on May for 51 CAD. And they noticed that they added a Asahi's one in my box. I have the Asahi snake with me as well, but the problem is that Perth Mint snakes are rarer nowadays here. So the premium is a big higher compared to the Asahi's snake. The bar is sold out everywhere, but they promised that they would keep looking for that, what I requested is that if they are going to send me the ASahi one, it would be fair to send me the one on assay so I get more of the premium back.

  Olá, amantes da prata. Hoje vou falar sobre o design mais lindo feito para uma águia americana. E não, não estou falando da famosa águia de prata americana, que é cunhada todos os anos. Ela é cunhada no Canadá. Este animal incrível, geralmente associado aos EUA, também está presente por aqui, mas ninguém fora do Canadá pensa nisso. Por isso, estou orgulhoso de que esta moeda seja tão bonita e represente um belo animal endêmico de nossa terra canadense.

  Águias-americanas são tão comuns que as vejo voando com frequência em Alberta. Aqui em Lethbridge, dirigindo pela Whoop Up Drive, vi uma voando sobre minha cabeça. No último fim de semana, fui ao Parque Waterton e vi duas delas pescando no Lago Cameron. Então, especialmente aqui perto das Montanhas Rochosas, elas são bem comuns perto de corpos d'água.

  A moeda cunhada em 2019 vem originalmente em um mostrador tipo concha, como muitos produtos premium da Royal Canadian Mint. Vi-a sendo vendida por valores absurdos, acima de 80 CAD, mesmo quando a prata ainda estava abaixo de 50 CAD. Encontrei um vendedor com 4 ou 5 dessas belezuras sem o mostrador e ele estava vendendo a moeda bem perto do preço. O preço final de 63 CAD para mim foi uma vitória. Até mesmo o preço original da moeda em 2019 era 89 CAD. Bem, com certeza, se fosse lançada hoje em dia, custaria cerca de 149 CAD, que é o preço normal de uma onça de prata de um lançamento premium na casa da moeda. É triste, acho muito injusto, já que a moeda de prata de 1 onça está a 56 CAD no momento.

  A moeda chamada "The Valiant One: Bald Eagle" é ótima por causa do acabamento fosco, dando o aspecto de proof inverso. E assim como ursos, castores e pumas, frequentemente encontrados em nossas moedas, eles mereciam a incrível honra de estar nesta moeda. É claro que, por ser uma moeda de 2019, ainda traz a Rainha Elizabeth II no anverso.

  Foi uma ótima descoberta este mês. Apesar de ter más notícias na minha coleção. Finalmente, estou enviando uma caixa cheia de itens que comprei nos últimos 4 meses com uma loja famosa aqui no Canadá. Quando eles estavam conferindo todos os itens para enviar, perceberam que escolheram o item errado quando o comprei em maio. Comprei uma bela barra de cobra na Perth Mint em maio por CAD 51. E eles notaram que adicionaram uma da Asahi's na minha caixa. Também tenho a da Asahi's comigo, mas o problema é que as da Perth Mint são mais raras aqui hoje em dia. Então, o prêmio é bem maior em comparação com a da Asahi's. A barra está esgotada em todos os lugares, mas eles prometeram que continuariam procurando por ela. O que eu pedi é que, se eles fossem me enviar a da ASahi, seria justo me enviar a que está em análise para que eu recebesse uma parte maior do prêmio de volta.
