Hive is amazing, and I have already known about that for a while. But I finally could buy silver using HIVE, and that is amazing. So instead of using my regular bank resources and credit cards, I used a simple hive transfer on chain. I bought one bar and one round both 1 oz from @bulliontools. In addition to the greatness of buying with Hive, I bought with a very friendly shipping cost since he is in the US and I am in Canada. Usually, the silver dealers charge a lot for shipping like that or just don’t ship it. In total the two oz of silver cost 179 Hive with the shipping included. That brings to something around 63 USD or 84 CAD. He was asking for 75.5 Hive for each silver, which isn’t bad for the price, less than 36 CAD each. The Asahi dragon round I bought for 38 CAD and it was a release. Most of my hive produced in here usually stays on the chain investing in my HP or playing in pools, only a couple of times have I used to buy other tokens off the chain, but I never used them for personal expenses. I can count this as an investment since silver is a precious metal. But still, it was the first physical thing I bought with Hive. In addition, it took 7 days to arrive in my PO box.

  So what did I buy? This is the most important thing and I didn't say for now. The bar was minted by Asahi. Like I said before, I became a great fan of this refining company. Their design is unique and interesting. This traditional refining company from Japan, bought Johnson Matthey Refinery, a company from the US in 2015. You can see the traditional symbol of the company with a merged A and H in the back repeated many times.

  The other silver is a round from Scottsdale Mint. This mint is famous for minting the rounds for small countries in the middle of the Pacific Ocean or Africa. This round is from 2020 and has interesting details in the background to avoid counterfeiting. Like a lion in the middle in the background beside the R in the reverse of the round.

  So my friends it was an amazing experience, of course that this buying will affect a bit my planned power-up for the next January 1st since I usually power up 100 Hive. Well, I have just got 25 HBD in the last Zealy campaign, it wasn't what I was expecting since I made some crucial mistakes that would allow me to get 50 HBD. These 25 HBDs are now in LPs in Hive to help me get an extra Hive for a better power-up. But I will keep watching if someone else is selling silver or gold in the blockchain so I can have this investment in precious metals also funded by my Hive income.

Bem, acabei de conseguir 25 HBD na última campanha da Zealy, não era o que eu estava esperando, já que cometi alguns erros cruciais que me permitiriam obter 50 HBD. Esses 25 HBDs estão agora em LPs no Hive para me ajudar a obter um Hive extra para um melhor power-up. Mas continuarei observando se mais alguém está vendendo prata ou ouro na blockchain para que eu possa ter esse investimento em metais preciosos também financiado pela minha renda do Hive.
