Well, it is tough when you are talking about $PIZZA all the time in the discord channel when you love pizza. You start to dream about it and remember the excellent pizza experiences in life.
One of my top 5 Pizza experiences for sure was in Italy. As everyone knows, Italy has the fame of the pasta and pizza country. However, when you get there, you see that you can also eat cheap pasta, mostly in Rome, similar to the East Side Mario`s here in Canada.
However, Italy has different regions and cities with different landscapes and also different foods. I can do some other posts about different wines and amazing foods that I tried there and how I felt more in love with Italian gastronomical culture.
One of the places that I planned to go to was the amazing city of Pompeii, which was totally buried by Mt. Vesuvio lava.

Well in the path to Pompeii you stop in the city of Naples, there you can have one of the most amazing pizza experiences in Italy, trying the true Neapolitan pizza and going to a place called L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele.
That place is amazing! The only problem is the huge line to go there, it is very busy. But it is totally worth it!

I recommend the traditional Margherita pizza, just tomato, and cheese. It looks like being very simple, but you can feel the taste of the pizza dough baked in the wood oven and the amazing quality of the mozzarella cheese that they use.
It was my first time trying this type of pizza in this way. Here in Canada where I live, there are some Italian pizzerias that also bake Neapolitan pizzas like that, but still, that was a remarkable experience. Since the trip was in 2015, I couldn't find my picture from the pizza, I took it from their own website to show you guys the example.
