Brazil... a contradictory emotion.

In exactly 6 hours, I will start a journey, my first time in almost 5 years visiting my home country, Brazil, more specifically the city of Rio de Janeiro. I am very concerned with this trip, mostly because of all COVID situations, but also I am anxious to see family and friends that I haven't seen since I came here. Taking all of it, my relationship with my home country is similar to this song, one of the most famous abroad. It is a samba, a genre born in the country, a mix of rhythms, most of them with African origins.
The music "Aquarela do Brasil" or "Watercolor of Brazil" or sometimes only known as "Brazil" is an ancient song from the end of the 30's. However, it gained success with a Disney video, as shown here. It is a song that exalts the country showing its colors and being happy there. Usually, people outside the country associate the country only with these qualities: music, happiness and lots of forests. The country still has forests and beautiful places to go, but many people migrate from there, not only me.
